Mislocated Gas
Bottle Angles

The purpose of this bulletin is to inform Coleman folding trailer dealers of possible mislocated gas bottle mounting angles.

It has been brought to our attention that certain 2003 12' storage box models have the gas bottle mounting angles mounted too far forward and do not allow for proper installation of the molded gas bottle cover.

Included with this bulletin, please find a copy of the instruction sheet, a roll pin, a drill template for installing new gas bottle mounting angles, and a list of affected trailers that we shipped to your dealership. Please install the roll pin in the small hole and save the drill template for use with the gas bottle relocation kits. The gas bottle relocation kits are available from our Parts Department by ordering part #4716-4621. Each kit will include two new gas bottle angles, rivets, and instructions.Please ensure that the proper dealership personnel are informed of the potential problem.
